The
BCSCMsG New Era Study of the fundamental nilpotent foundations
of computation, quantum physics & mathematics.
The British Computer Society Cybernetic Machine specialist Group future programme is to be entirely devoted to this New Era study. This decision follows from the key discovery by Rowlands and Diaz of the nilpotent computational rewrite system that bootstraps itself into existence from zero (and supporting evidence resulting from past annual programmes over the last five to ten years). It lays a new fundamental semantic foundation for computation, mathematics & quantum physics, as originally mooted by John Wheeler of Princeton in his concepts 'the Meaning Circuit' & 'Physical Law without law', putting flesh on their bones. This flesh specifies a quantum cosmology & cosmological evolution in terms of the thermodynamic quantum Carnot Engine, i.e. a quantum measurement process where the required Clifford/fermionic and Lie /bosonic representations of its nilpotent quantum mechanical state space are described by the nilpotent generalization of Dirac's famous equation discovered by Rowslands & Cullerne, and quantum holography defined by the 3D nilpotent Heisenberg Lie Group as discovered by Schempp, respectively. In particular, the fundamental symmetry breaking of the empty set of this state space provides a scientific explanation of how Standard Model elementary particle matter & 3+1 space-time both simultaneously come into existence. The central thrust of the New Era study is therefore to further confirm that the nilpotent rewrite system is the unique master key to the Universe's virgin birth and its further evolution including life, where RNA/DNA is also such a nilpotent rewrite system.
To oversee this New Era Study programme, there is be an executive study committee composed, in alphabetical order, of Ernst Binz, Steve Cumbers, Bernard Diaz, Mike Horner, Peter Marcer, Edgar Mitchell, Peter Rowlands & Walter Schempp. Its function will be to offer advice and criticism during the Study,
This notice is also a call for papers in the first major event in the New Era Study

The Inauguration
in 2005 of a New Era Study Programme begins from the remarkable
discovery in 2003 by Diaz & Rowlands of a nilpotent rewrite system
for universal quantum computation
That is to say, this discovery specifies a fundamental semantic
foundation & universal grammar for quantum computation that
also describes quantum physics, so as to determine Nature's rules
or 'machine order code' (i.e. that of the nilpotent generalization
(1) below of Dirac's famous equation) for what is quantum physically
meaningful in computation & physics, and it can be hypothesized
all the sciences! For example, the current evidence points to the
fact that the RNA/DNA genetic code is such a nilpotent computational
rewrite system.
where E, p, m, t and r are respectively energy, momentum, mass, time, space and the symbols ±1, ±i, ±i, ±j, ±k, ±i, ±j, ±k, are used to represent the respective units required by the scalar, pseudo-scalar, quaternion and multivariate vector groups.
In particular, the sum total of 3+1 space-time & complementary Standard
Model elementary particle matter resulting from the symmetry breaking
(1) specifies, is nilpotent and must remain zero. That is, this
nilpotent emergence constitutes a global Source/ White (W)Hole which
must be matched with a global disappearance at a set of secondary
local sinks or black holes (Huygens' principle) plus a corresponding
thermo-dynamic increase in the entropy of the total system as an
information metric & historical record (in accordance with the system's
endless evolution as a Quantum Carnot Engine). Thus specifying,
it can be hypothesized, a Quantum Cosmology of Everything from Nothing.
